A Perfect Costume Return Policy We pride ourselves in carrying high quality costumes and accessories and hope that you will be satisfied with your order. Please note: Costume styles are subject to change without notice due to the manufacturer’s production. These changes, no matter how slight, are beyond our control. The Manufacturers do not always notify us of these variations. We will reflect any changes to the costumes in the website descriptions and images as soon as we become aware of them. Thank you for your understanding with this issue.We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. In the unlikely event you are dissatisfied with your costume please send an email (24/7) to customerservice@aperfectcostume.com within 2 days* (See note below) of delivery of your order for a return merchandise authorization (RMA). This does not mean you automatically qualify for a credit. It means if you follow the guidelines, we will evaluate your return/exchange for credit or exchange. All purchases of the sales items, clearance sale, price below cost & limited quantity items are final and sold as is – due to reduced prices we will not be able to accept returns or exchanges on these items. See exclusions below. *NOTE: Due to the seasonality of our business, we DO NOT ALLOW RETURNS or EXCHANGES ON COSTUMES and accessory purchases made between September 1st & December 31st. If you need a different costume or size costume, you must place a new order for the needed replacement item and return the item you already received. All replacements must be handled in this manner because the desired item maybe out of stock by the time we receive your return. This will ensure the fastest delivery of your replacement items. All appropriate policies including needing a RMA number and restocking fees apply to all returned items. Refunds are for the merchandise less restocking fee only excluding shipping and handling fees. No exchanges and or returns will be accepted on costume orders placed from September 1st through December 31st A RMA number must be provided in order for your returns to be accepted. Returns received without a RMA will not be accepted. Once you have received a RMA number: * Our standard restocking fee 30% or minimum $5.00 applies to items received back in orginal condition within the 5 days of issuance of your RMA number. * Mascot costumes and special order costumes are NOT returnable. * Sales items, clearance sale, price below cost & limited quantity items are final sales Returnable items must be unopened, unused and in original condition. All items not in resellable condition will not receive a credit. Any return received with missing items or without original packaging will not be credited. We do not reimburse shipping charges. Please note: We cannot accept returns on clearance sale, clearance, priced below cost, final-sale or special-order items, or on items damaged through normal wear and tear. Once your order has been placed, the order cannot be cancelled or returned. Items never accepted for return We recommend purchasing insurance since we cannot be responsible for lost or damaged returns. It is recommended that all returns are shipped back with a delivery confirmation. We do not reimburse for shipping charges. Refused, undeliverable and unclaimed shipments will be charged a 50% restocking fee or minimum of $5.00 (except for non-returnable items) in addition to inbound and out bound freight charges providing the return is received within 20 days of orginal order date. Refused, undeliverable and unclaimed shipments received after 20 days of order date will not recieve any type of credit.
